Song of the Sun Leaves unravel as May strives in rain A night when the moon releases an eclipse of pain Scents of summer spiral in rising currents of air My listless mind lies fluttering, insomnia For the birth of my first grandson. Between stars, dawn’s diamonds spark As breathless air shrinks to the coming day Green clouds bursting on treetops swing A rainbow arching, a forlorn sea’s dream Rain, rain, sing of the sun, a pearl stream.
